Hurling Championship 2020 - The Year Limerick Blitzed

It was essentially a blitz they won.

It’s like Galway claiming any of their titles before 2017 counted.

So no all Ireland before 1997 counted?

It was the greatest blitz of all time. Hopefully we are locked down for the year and we walk all over every one again in another blitz.

Are the pubs shut tonight?

There should be an objection put in, it was a farce really.

They might. Who knows :pensive:

If anyone thinks antnee wrote this

“It has for a long time been influential in the world of business and managerial strategies, with it’s most famous aphorisms incorporated into elite preparation.”

I have a bridge for sale.
The rest of it he phoned in.

Were the All Irelands prior to 1997 ran off as a 6 week winter blitz in front of empty stadiums?

You should write a letter pal.

It was basically like winning a grand slam at Tag Rugby.

The most depressing part of 2020 was our fear of losing.

Playing a sweeper in the 2nd half against Limerick in a do or die game was criminal. You’re as well to lose by 15 points as by 4 points but at least walk off the field and say you tried.

I’ll have to defer to your tag rubby expertise here.

You aren’t though. At least at 4 points you’ve got a chance.

On Stephen’s night.

Limerick won the blitz. Noone else was within asses roar

We just blitzed them.

It’s glorious… Too much food and drink hitting home along with the realization that work is looming in a couple of days …pure emotional wrecks

Nonsense… Retreating so deep that your most dangerous forward is foragging for possession around the 65 yard line.

Go man to man and if your good enough you’ll win.

But ye arent good enough.

If you’re within 3 or 4 you’ve a chance at least

Whatever about playing a sweeper, firing hail marys into the full forward line knowing that they were going to come straight back out was just mind boggling
