Hurling is the greatest game in the world

Swarms? Swathes maybe?

I went to clare vs Kerry and Tipp vs Galway.

I went to Mayo vs Tyrone and Dublin vs Donegal

I will go to both football semi finals.

Why ? Because I think gaelic football is the greatest game on earth.

Dublin people have made their choice between football and hurling mate.

It’s the same choice as 90% of the country make

And that is totally your right.Doesn’t give you the right to vilify hurling though

Doesn’t answer the question.

Dublin people never liked hurling mate, much like they (most of them) never grew tired of sucking the queens’s tit.

In the southern half of the Island , particularly in Munster, hurling is King… That’s good enough for me. Dublin figures will skew the numbers. In real Ireland, hurling is King.

You keep your imaginary flag flying in Kansas you clown. We’ll keep the country running while you flip the burgers.

being born in a mud hut doesnt make you more Oirish mate

how many Oirish freedom fighters came from Galway?

That’s why hurling is such a spectacle. The fact that non hurling counties probably don’t have the skill levels required to play it makes it even more of a spectacle.

Liam Mellows? Wouldn’t expect you have heard of him.

a quick look at wiki- thanks for nothing you vile quislings

Galway city played a relatively minor role in the upheaval in Ireland from 1916–1923. In 1916, during the Easter Rising, Liam Mellows mobilised the local Irish Volunteers in the area to attack the Royal Irish Constabulary barracks at Oranmore, just outside Galway, however they failed to take it and later surrendered in Athenry. During the Irish War of Independence 1919–21, Galway was the western headquarters for the British Army. Their overwhelming force in the city meant that the local Irish Republican Army could do little against them

Cunts like you have been running it into the ground since I left mate. Your next bailout will be becoming the 51st state.

There were proud sons of Galway in the GPO in 1916.

Actually, how sad.

enlighten us, how many brits were shot in galway between 1916 & 1921

how many Galway men joined the Ra?

apart from Tipp is Hurling played in any county with a proud fenian spirit?

Ah here. We’ve gone from hurling to football to the fucking rising and war of independence. In the words of my good friend the budweiser lizard “Let it go Louis”

Galwaymen are too smart to be shot mate, unlike the thick cunts who occupied the Custom House in 1921.
