Hurling League 2014

John Joe

That’s more like it.

Shefflin deliberately “accidentally” strikes the Waterford goalkeeper with the hurley and gets away with it.

Jackie too interested in the man there

The goalscoring hero hauled off

Typical Jackie. The handpass inside was on but he just has to try and burst through the man resulting in a schmozzle, a free to waterford and a point.

Larkin at nothing again. It’s real fits and starts stuff from us. Backs doing alright but then again they’ve a free man back there all the time.
Poor enough game.

Offaly 4-11 Antrim 1-1 after 21 minutes.

Antrim didn’t even know the time of the match.

They should pull out of inter-county hurling altogether if that’s going to be their attitude.

Why is the chipp game on in Nenagh?
Are they terrified of losing to dublin in Semple?

It’s in Thurles.

Cork and Wexford is a smashing game according to my reporters at the venue. They scored two goals in a minute midway through the first half. Both goalkeeper errors.

Why would the dalai lama lie to us?

On in Thurles.

Dublin were leading 0-09 to 0-03. Now leading 0-10 to 0-09, Tipp hopeless again.

Fennelly and Walter doing well, Larkin taking too much out of the ball as is Richie Power (as usual). It’s like both of them are trying to manufacture a goal every time they get the ball.

Happy enough with the backs but Waterford forwards aren’t up to much

Tipp, kk and Limerick all hopeless by all accounts. Limerick the pick of the bunch in the hopeless stakes.

McGovern, Tomkins and one other subbed at half time for Wexford.
