Hurling League 2018

Edit: double post.

Youā€™re in a glass house throwing boulders now

You could see Kilkenny have been working on this style of play a long time, short 20 to 30 yard passes to take the spare man in each time and working the ball up accurately and slower than usual. Almost football like in its approach. I think a few things went against us today tho. Conceding so much in the middle of the first half against that wind. Players playing well below ability. Very silly decisions and play that they havenā€™t normally being doing. Itā€™s no harm to get a bit of a trimming now and then, gives a huge chance to learn the weaknesses and cut them out and improve. But only if they learn of those mistakes.

Conor Mac has looked better in his last 3 games than he has done for quite a while now. Free taking looks to be somewhat solved now too. Depth in defence is definitely a worry tho

It was only the league pal

But it was only the league fir the last few weeks as well

Its caught out plenty on here this season. This little pisshorn of optimism the league brings.

We all know a pisshorn is no good to man nor beast though

You donā€™t know the day or the hour as the holy bible says

Hurling is more individuals than systems, and Kilkennys stronger players are better than yeres.

But playing with expectation is a strange beast too, you can only shake it with experience, so plenty of that, plus the bandwagon slows down, never a bad thing.

Itā€™s all bad in wexford and limerick now

KK playing like shit and still running away with it
some amount of talent the fuckers have

Typically mediocre match report there from Marie Crowe of todayā€™s game.

Hurling archeology on Radio1 with Myles Dungan right now @anon61956325

Iā€™ll have to listen back to itā€¦

West Limerick the home of hurling, Kerry and Meath in the conversation, only one ball ever found in Tipp, dropped by someone passing through

Last nightā€™s match was like pitch and putt compared to this. Kilkenny very fired up for it.
