How is Sandy Lane holding up?
Heading up the coast of Florida now but may not land … South/North Carolina to get it bad… if you look out across the Atlantic there’s another big boy forming - marked with a X on this.
It’s times like this that you appreciate living in a wet dreary shithole like Ireland, where the only threat from the weather is suicide.
Anyone (on this forum) ever been to the Azores?
Sandy Lane is holding up well, largely thanks to the fact that it’s on Barbados a couple of thousand kilometers from the Bahamas.
Great news for the lads.
Informative
Heard report of winds of nearly 300km per hour. That’s insane.
Dorian is currently moving at snails/@Bandage pace over the Bahamas. It’s absolutely battering the bastards and taking its time to make sure it’s getting the job done. It’s travelled 40 miles in 12 hours and is down to about 1mph now. All while hitting the place with gusts between 150 & 200 mph.
Absolutely relentless. The place could be leveled altogether by the end of it
Not even 5k in 25 minutes. Must have been lactating
