Some fella mentioned the stands were empty for Limerick vs Laois like it was some sort of freak event.
The stand had a grand crowd in it, the shitheap on the other side was empty, because oddly enough, no one wants to sit in the rain.
I think because there’s so many games in such a short space of time in both the football and the hurling championships it’s very difficult to follow it like you used to be able to follow it. You’d have a max of two games on a Sunday that were interesting and maybe one on a Saturday.
Like next Saturday alone there’s 5/6 interesting games that would be worth watching.

The shitheap is the Mackey Stand, where you were sat. It’s something from a Soviet gulag. The open stand has much better viewing angles, as the county board had this mad idea to to make it steeper than the pancake across from it.

I’m still in a dynasty league. I put absolutely zero effort into any research this summer. I made one trade to fill a big hole in my squad. He just did his achilles. My indifferent reaction to that gave the game away.
