The phone is crazy. I was in the company of a couple of fellas today. Young lads. Early 20’s. They couldnt stop looking at their PP accounts on the phone.

You can get too far behind for sure and its very hard get right. Hard go to work when you’re working the next few weeks for free and then multiply. I think a lot of depression is pretty circumstantial.

I know I’m a weirdo in this sense but I grew up in a house that loved the races but the oul lad never bet, passed on to me I’d watch the racing like watching a match,it just interests me now I would bet if I go to a meeting very rare but I’ve never had an online account and only time I’d be in the bookies would be for the household quick picks for the Grand National.

Ah look I know there’s lads here with vested interests and that’s grand, but anyone who looks at the gambling industry’s hold over the sports industry (especially horse racing and most certainly greyhound racing) and thinks it’s ok might want to step back a little and wonder why they think that.

It’s weird in a sense I love watching racing and would follow the form, horses etc but genuinely I’m not into gambling, maybe it’s like the teetotaller who loves going to the pub, I don’t know.
