I more or less grew up in there. A smashing pub. Would you ever have a No9 whiskey there.
I certainly do. And have been known a buy a bottle of it. Makes a nice gift. But not really whiskey weather today.
Had half an hour to kill before train home.
Malarkey:Always a treat to have one in here.
Bonus of Studio One ska being played.

Do not think there is a more charming pub in Ireland. And few as charming. I even enjoy the musty smell.
Crossing the Nore is always a lovely experience. Caught a lot of trout in that stretch above The Viaduct.
On another pub-related note: was in Clonmel today, meeting a friend who was in the area. Was not in a pub there – except The Greyhound bar, briefly, where a request for tea was met with amusing disbelief. But Phil Carroll’s and Carey’s in Irishtown are two of the worthwhile spots in the town?

I get a present of a bottle every now and again.

As long as I’ve been old enough to appreciate it the de Bromheads have been great publicans.

You know them far better than I do but could not agree more.
Tús maith - leath na hoibre. A noble swallow to start off. Always a good sign.
Enjoy the holiday Mike
I’d a big feed of pints last night. Plenty of Camden Hells. I’m not sure if I can GO AGAIN later
Go back and ask him to fill it
Woof!
