I won't be able to drink to spread covid

You might have just picked a bad day. I went to go in there a few weeks ago and couldnā€™t get in the door, turned out it was student race day.

Itā€™s a long time since there were many tables in the front bar, would be very surprised if the tables on the right were gone as they are mainly occupied by auld regulars.

Never had a bad pint of Guinness in there but I do think it is overrated.

It passed over in the family some half a dozen years ago I think?

I was a bit underwhelmed the last couple of times I was there.

Itā€™s gone trendy now. Everything goes to fuck when they become cool

Except Mickey Martins.

ā‚¬6 fucking 50 for a pint of Heinomite in the dome Thurles today.

They only had the Heino range in stock. If they are trying to get Murphyā€™s into new hands, they could do better than having it fired out in plastic glasses half warm and over priced. Couldnā€™t stomach a second

Venicecorthy Iā€™d say

Terrific combination - I donā€™t know why I thought of Cyril Farrell and Ger Loughnane there for a secā€¦.

Iberian Peninsula, pal.

Is that that macka packa fucker?

Goin to the wild west of bundoran this weekend for the first time since Iā€™ve been old enough to drink a pint, recommendations? donā€™t care about the location or clientele, the Guinness quality determine whether Iā€™ll ever go there again or not

What did they charge you for that? Like hens teeth in the US, a grand a bottle
