I won't be able to drink to spread covid

Carpet in a pub is just wrong. No excuse for it

The Long Hall, in 1989, was my equal first pub in Dublin, with Mulligan’s. But The Long Hall got ‘done up’. Still nice – but not a patch. Kehoes still a good approximation of itself.

Mulligan’s well ahead now. I will be there shortly. Hopefully no riot tonight.

What a pub to finish in. As Roy would say, a Kilkenny Cathedral

I had this earlier in memory of Shane.

It wasn’t a good one but then again maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

Looks like a savage cheap, border area pint. Repackaged harp probably. I always loved the proliferation of weird ciders in offies around the border when i was young and my guts could take it.

I’m cross channel mate drinking draught from my favourite Hawaiian brewery
