Carpet in a pub is just wrong. No excuse for it
The Long Hall, in 1989, was my equal first pub in Dublin, with Mulliganâs. But The Long Hall got âdone upâ. Still nice â but not a patch. Kehoes still a good approximation of itself.
Mulliganâs well ahead now. I will be there shortly. Hopefully no riot tonight.
By God. Youâre having some day of it.
What a pub to finish in. As Roy would say, a Kilkenny Cathedral
It really comes alive at Christmas
Itâs class, looking forward to spending the festive season up there, 23rd with junior in town, meeting with family in The Palace, 24th afternoon in the Yellow House, darts on TV 27th, Ah LovelyâŚ
I had this earlier in memory of Shane.
It wasnât a good one but then again maybe it wasnât meant to be.
Should be a pint of vodka
Tabhair Aire a Sheain! Youâll be sorry ar maidin.
Looks like a savage cheap, border area pint. Repackaged harp probably. I always loved the proliferation of weird ciders in offies around the border when i was young and my guts could take it.
