I can’t help but think the result of this months competition is inevitable.
How so?
Super initiative shown in setting up the poll here, CD. And a mid Friday afternoon result ticks all the boxes too.
I’m breaking 4 figures soon so I thought I would need to step my game up.
I was concerned about fucking up the poll but it was relatively straightforward. I also, as threadstarter, get the added bonus of seeing the live results. Cracking start so far.
I was concerned about the Friday finish.
Some of us leave early on random Fridays due to hangovers and alcoholism. Like me this Friday. 
Make sure you don’t give away anything that might affect voting patterns. This needs to be as honest a race as possible.
I actually thought it was a smart move on cluaindiuics part setting it up so he could see the running totals :p. I have no need for them though. I think justice will be done.

How many out of the 8 participants have received at least one vote?
And the spread of votes without associating names with numbers.
e.g. leader is x ahead.
Obviously you could not do it after each vote was cast that would give too much away.
Maybe at 10,20,30 etc…
Or an update Weds and Thurs at 15:07
Then the other users will convince themselves that they know the score and vote on an assumption.

I don’t know whether that underestimates or overestimates some of the posters on here but either way it’s too complicated. Any member of the BSC (Barcelona Supporters Club) who doesn’t vote for Shan deserves to have their membership revoked.
Winning this might send him to the priory with Susan Boyle.
