If you could be in one pub right now

Whereabouts in Kerry is that?

The Limerick lads love Kerry in fairness.

Regulars would be ecstatic to see the place clear out. Nice quiet cosy few pints with the locals. Few games of pool. Handy walk home. Bliss.

The landlord wouldnt though. A few baskets of salty as fuck food at 5 would have them swilling until 9ish

Sorry to ruin the Dingle love in but I’ll raise you Teddy O’Sullivan’s in Killmackillogue on The Beara Peninsula

There is/was - not great. Similar to most of the pubs on the sea front.

Cork: The courthouse
Thurles: Brennan’s
Dingle: Curran’s
Killarney: O’Briens
Dublin: The lower deck
Cashel: Foleys

Few places I’m looking to get to in next few months.

I had a pint there in the Vic (Victoria House) in Tramore after a spot of shopping. It’s a grand pub. Lovely fire on the go.

Its a smashing pub. Owned by a Vincents man Pat Mcguinness that used to own The three Shippe’s in Waterford.

One for the things I learned today thread.

I had a carrot dangled in front of me earlier of a few pints in one of the greatest pubs in the country, but it seems to have become a non runner. I’m quietly seething now.
