I'm a dosser who takes pictures of inane scenery thread

That’s the mass rock mate, surely it would be bad form to inscribe it.
Theres a load of paths on Knockfierna, one is dedicated to local historian Mainchin Seoighe, another to a former top dog at Glenstal Abbey and one to the Colleen Bawn who was a local as well.

Ok, due to the bit of history I’ll give it a 4. Marks deducted for general lack of outstanding scenery in the background, complete overkill on bonfire size on the part of the locals and extremely grainy photography by yourself. With quality pixelation so easily available these days you need to up your game slightly. Which I’m sure you will.

Cheers pal, noted!

That’s the can do attitude I wanted to see going forward.

Am I reading this right? The lad living in Newfoundland is giving you advice over what you should do within the area you live in?

Whatever about hook head, if he got a picture of your hooked nose that would be outstanding. You hooked nose cunt.

Why would he need a picture of something he’s seen with his own eyes?

What a day for a stroll in the mid west, brilliant sunshine and not a bit of wind. Lough Gur looked fantastic, stopped off at the stone circle and met the owner of the land who gave us the bit of history he knew.

That’s more like it.

Just heading back out there now

Good job pal, well done on upping your game significantly. As nice as I’ve ever seen Limerick look really. Far clearer too, you’ve obviously been googling how to take steadier pictures, which hasn’t gone unnoticed. Probably a bit high here but perseverance has to be rewarded. 8/10

Unrelated but there’s a poignancy in looking at that poor swan on the lake. as the forum knows he’s unlikely to survive a certain posters next trip home from Poland.

Lovely day yesterday so spent most of it out and about. Went back to Tintern Abbey again and went for a nice walk through the forest up by the river

Also decided, seeing as we were in that general area, that I would take @maroonandwhite 's advice and go visit the Hook Liighthouse and see what the fuss was about.

lovely spot, must go back there again sometime.

Tintern will always be 5 country. But the raw oceanic beauty of that middle photo of ‘the hook’ moves the excursion straight into a 6/10,at least. Congratulations

The hook head lighthouse itself is worth a visit but the scenery around the Loop head equivalent is superior. I love lighthouses.

Cracking red sky over Dublin Bay from my run* on Dun Laoighre west pier on Sunday evening.
