Munnia across the water?

Yep. ‘Money yeah’

Bare country. One of my grannies came from there before migrating a bit north

Bare in the background. But some of the finest farm land in North clare is in that downslope between the main road and the sea.

It’s not exactly the Golden Vale though, is it?

You get a better quality of mud hut in North Clare.

@KinvarasPassion, you’d want to be setting the alarm clock very early to be ready for @balbec’s sharpness in the morning. It’s almost as if he has an hour headstart on the rest of us.

I’m definitely looking for tap ins to set myself up for the day.

You’re the Ruud van Nistelrooy of pre-9am TFK. They might be tap-ins, but someone still needs to score them.

Brought the wife (and the dog) for a lovely looped walk this afternoon up at Ballycuggaran Woods by Two Mile Gate. Fantastic views of Lough Derg and a lovely stroll. We went off track a bit and ended up doing a leisurely 10k. I was doing a recce for when I introduce @ChocolateMice to some introductory trail running this summer

Why are you planning to bring @ChocolateMice off to a secluded wooded area in the middle of nowhere ???

Hopefully to murder him

Watch your back. Your time in limited.

We need him, there’s few enough cark lads on here. We’ll turn on each other without them.

Picture or it never happened pal

I think this could be the first step towards @ChocolateMice becoming an invaluable regular contributor to the ultrarunning thread

he doesn’t have the right attributes, he doesn’t have what it takes mentally
