I'm a dosser who takes pictures of inane scenery thread

He will surprise everyone once he gets a taste of the great outdoors. He’ll have a trail ultra done by this time next year.

He wouldn’t have the guts to really hurt himself.

I was doing these runs when you mugs were still on pills and riding whores :joy:- My half marathon PB is 1.32 - No one on this forum has topped that. I’d outlift and out run any of you cunts

I’ll be bringing another Limerick person with me… You don’t enter a woods alone with a Tipp person unless you’re the one planning on putting them away.

Not a bad spot for a walk. Out near John Thorpy, Hurleys, just past Sixmilebridge.

They have put in some new walkways recently and are trying to get some funds together.

Nice 5.2k cliff walk here in Ardmore, not as naturally scenic as the west coast but not without its charms either.

Follow it around to the graveyard. Interesting grave there of Vol Patsy Hurton. Patsy had been picked up and interned in Cork during the War of Independence. When the war was over he was released but instead of coming home to Ardmore he took the train to Dublin to see a girl. When the train got to Thurles a Black and Tan on the train went ballistic over something and started shooting at random killing Patsy Hurton. Tragic, really. The war was over.

Did the whole thing but the only graveyard i recall seeing was by the round tower. Didn’t linger too long, two watchtowers at the summit were interesting, one Napoleonic and the other WW2.
Had a lovely lunch in the Summertime? Cafe in Lismore and looking forward to Michelin star cooking this evening.

Yes that’s the graveyard alright.

There is another super spot for lunch tomorrow in the village if you wanted a change, it’s called the white horses

Ate their 12 years ago and it was one of my best ever meals, didn’t look open today at 3 so maybe no lunch out of season.

Tis a great country. The poor hard pressed teachers eating Michelin Star food in €500 a night hotels.

And he’s had at least 20 best meals he’s ever eaten experiences.

Yes indeed, this’ll put back in the calories burnt off earlier. They must be paying the teachers too much.

Was the Mas de Daumas Gassac nice? It used to be a super wine. Haven’t had a bottle of it in 20 years.

I’ve no interest in wine really so can’t comment much. They were all absolutely fine but the food was what it was about for me. That first course (although it followed a substantial amuse bouche) was almost perfect.

They’ve a fantastic whiskey menu which was of more interest to me.
