Woke up this morning and as the missus was off I decided to go up Moylussa, took the lesser known route from Kilbane, hadn’t bothered to check the weather and hadn’t realised that there was a couple of KMs of actual shitty bog where your foot sinks 8 inches on each step, insane, but some nice views
First one is class👌
What’s the best route up that? It’s on the list once this rain ends.
Nice
The easiest way is to go from Twomilegate
It’s tough enough no matter what way you go
AllTrails is a good app that will help you out
Lovely. We did a short bogwalk in Abbeyleix at the weekend. Some beautiful butterflies to be seen. Tonnes of them there.
I don’t know much about birds but on my run this morning two large birds of prey took off as I approached, maybe I spooked them, they looked like hawks to me, face like a cat
Possibly buzzards
I captured a kestrel diving and retrieving a young gull up the cliffs near roberts cove a few days ago
Class
Tried to post - too big
Same day - lizard- blackcaps - pair of buzzards , 6 plus types of bees , plus different butterflies
All within 200 m of each other
In the Scottish Highlands ahead of the big kick-off on the 12th. Iv never spent a day in this part of the world that iv regretted.
It’s great
Gorgeous creatures
Most of our species can be found in my walk within a hundred metres
Including a mad looking moth who’s coloured black and red
And what about the insects?
Really?? Good to see. According to the cultists there’s an insect apocalypse going on.
You should get negative likes for showing the clump of geosadan.
