Went for a run around some trails and woods near Courtown today. Went off one of the tracks for a while to do a bit of investigation and found myself looking up at this. That’s the main Gorey Courtown road above. Never even realised the bridge had such depth.

Afternoon spent on Morriscastle beach where this bad boy was washed up and the beach was full of sea gooseberries which I’d never seen nor heard of before. Wexford beaches really shit all over those in most of the rest of the country (bar Kerry maybe)
That’s some drop, I’ve never seen it from that angle before.
Sadly the scene of an accident a few years ago and a local woman lost her life.
That’s the one. Never realised it was that high either. They’ll be continuing the footpath from Greene’s to Courtown next year apparently and that bridge will cause a huge problem. They’ll have to come down off the road and link into the Woods path as they’ll never fit it on that bridge.
