I'm going into town now

Do you pop the collars?

Is that why he bought two of the same polos? Two popped collars one inside the other!?

What does this mean? I’m not au fait with all these terms you youngsters use.

@Bandage, i really hope you refrain from wear polo tops with the top buttons closed like some of the lady boys in the attached link.

What’s with all the new gear bandage- would a couple of SARS jerseys not do?

I think you need to be more specific about your requirements.

What are the results you are expecting from tonight night out?

Out with the missus and some friends male and female some of whom are single so

somewhere new/novelty factor I can claim to have discovered
get served in reasonable time at the bar
music but not so loud cannot have a conversation
somewhere arsey enough for there to be no scumbags but not TV3 presenters and deep v neck tshirts arsey
and a bit of eye candy

If you and the missus normally go out on Dawson street then I think offering advice to you is a waste of time.

wouldn’t be out all that often anymore but as it is central when we are out we tend to end up in the general area of Dawson Street across to George’s Street.

I am always willing to listen to advice.

Advice 1 - Stop going out anywhere on Dawson St. Its full of people who wish they were something that they aren’t.
Advice 2 - Avoid any pub / club that associates itself heavily with Rugby
Advice 3 - Avoid anywhere in Temple Bar

Keep these in mind and you’ll be grand.

Post of the Year pal…Post of the cuntin Year…:clap:

About to post that-this cunt is done for.

I do agree with 2 and 3. But it is not exhaustive advice so is a soundbite at best

I would add

  • avoid anywhere on a Friday before 10 that attracts an after work crowd
  • avoid Wexford Street unless under 25

Any decent bar suggestions in the general south city vicinity?
