I'm going into town now

Taking my life in my hands by hitting into Dublin town this afternoon.

Mrs Pox has taken all the small ones away to meet a friend of hers down the country. Just did my bits at home and called into the local GAA camp and did a bit there.

Planning on a nice late breakfast/lunch. A pint in some noble pub. Off then to see Oppenheimer and then a few more pints and I’ll be home before dusk.

Giddy now…tis the small things.

Enjoy mate but not sure of the cinema stop in the middle. Too much need to use the loo perhaps?

Keep the updates coming, it’ll be like Ferris Buellers day off - if you meet Juhy this could turn in to an epic thread

Only had the one. Hit then to the Golden Whisk cafe on Talbot st. Had a few breakfast sandwiches there previoulsy and they the bomb. Went for something different and it was brutal. They’ve lost my loyalty.

€6-50 for a ticket in the Savoy is decent value. Hopefully the film will be better than my lunch.

Good man. Did you like Cleary’s?

Pint looks typically excellent.

Would say I have introduced half a dozen people or more to Cleary’s in last 12 months. They all immediately became a big fan.

I called in there about a year back.

A grand spot but lacked a bit of atmosphere I thought.

A barman in their ex of The Sackville Lounge I think.

What’s the clientele like seeing as it couldn’t possibly be in a rougher part of the city?

@Fat_Pox really going in to the eye of the storm of recent events with all the attacks down Talbot Street…

Noctors in Sheriff Street would be a pub in a rougher part of the city.

Mind your phone.

I’ve been in it early enough a few times and the clientele are grand. I know you’re more of a Southside cheerleader yourself though
