its an interstining point and one i picked up on with the young fella Awlward (sp) who crashed the car and was killed - ballyhale were on about him yesterday - the whole famed family name thing, steeped in politics, hurling and what not, RIP etc,
anyway the point been Awlward was his mothers name - his father was cullen on something - now either i was thinking parents seperated or what not and he took the mothers name which would be odd enough or is it in that part of the world just having the name awlward is what its all about and the father dosent matter
His father was killed in a motorbike accident before the chap was born. So that might be the reason, don’t know.
