I’m in the “Finance” industry for want of a better word.
I can think of few things worse than wasting this beautiful day going to some rural backwater with a crowd of cunts to watch horse racing. @Julio Geordio, could you persuade them to go to a beer garden in town with you to play cards or something instead?
It’s not perfect Bando but at least I’ll get some sun on my skin and some cider in my belly. Free cider is even nicer than the normal stuff.

Had a very tiring last week to 10 days. Realised I was spending too much time with humans. Went to the beach for a run and a swim after work with the dog and then dried off and chilled out for about 2 hours sitting nestled into some rocks. Heaven.
Feel like a new man.

Great day, today. I stayed in my nan’s house last night as she was feeling poorly. I brought her round to vote this morning and then sat with her till she had some tea and toast. I went off then to do my own duty, but before I left she pressed a few bob into my paw. Walking down the road, I began thinking of a whore I had seen on escort-ireland recently who lives in the vicinity and I looked her up and gave her a call. Sure enough within 20 minutes I was frolicking with her on her bed. She wasn’t a disappointment. I went round to the polling booth with a spring in my step.
Afterwards, I walked into the city to meet a Brazilian girl I know on her lunch break. We went for steak and rice in a Brazilian joint. It was good.
I followed up that by meeting a 23 year old Brazilian girl from Fortaleza for a first date, of sorts. We went for an ice-cream and talked for over 2 hours. Her English is limited but I grew infatuated with her over the course of the afternoon. Sated from my morning punt, I was able to relax and enjoy her beauty and wit. We parted with a promise to meet again and I took the train back south. When I got home I received a text from a pal who informed me that there was a special on Gorey on Nationwide.

We’ve a fella staying with us here who’s ferrying sheep in and out of the place. He was working since 5am this morning driving and popped back around 11pm for a shower. He’s off again now to drive 15 miles down the road where he’ll sleep for the night before starting again in the morning. He has to drive the distance tonight as by his calculations he’ll be over his limit for tomorrow if he does it in the morning. He’s taken a few days off work to do these 18/19 hour shifts right up to Sunday night and is due back in work on Monday. Crazy shit

Had my first couple of pints since the middle of March tonight too. Mugs game drinking, a few quiet drinks every now and again is the way to go.
