Just renewed my baptismal vows at a smashing 11.30am mass at The Church of the Annunciation Clonard. Rory Byrne’s folk group is really tremendous aided by the music and theology students on secondment from Notre Dame University. Barry Larkin is a wonderful curate and has a lovely way about him. I’m absolutely buzzing now - a quick cup of tea at the home place before heading off to Nowlan Park. I may not be on such a high at 5.45pm but I’m on top of the world now.

At our mass the priest threw in a few extra words into the vows, deviating from the vows in the booklet resulting in lots of mistimed "I do’s " from the congregation.

What a weekend for the expat Nogra. The unbeatable and unbackable yerras sent packing at their own game yesterday, a lovely family outing to a French Bistro last night to celebrate daughter’s birthday, and a handy win for the hurlers today. Settling in for a nice Easter feast now with the Warriors on in the background.
