I was having a look at the sections of the Coroners Act referred to in that article in the Paper of Record. I would have thought that any finding of unlawful killing would be pointing in just one direction.
The Coroner wouldnât go any further than that verdict though? There might be a recommendation that the State/Gardai investigate further but they wouldnât state outright who or what to look into

What de fook is wrong with you? Lucky youâre not in charge of justice in this country. Whatever happened that night, it wasnât deliberate. Awful tragedy and badly managed event but nobody went out that night to kill anyone.
