I presume it’s Dublin. There is that type of maneuvering that goes on by asking for adjournments etc.
But it’s risky as the wrong judge will see it’s been adjourned a number of time and just decide to run the case

A tricky one alright. Your best bet if you have a middling judge is to sabotage the key prosecution witness.
The Dowra affair is a classic example of getting the most out of your hand.
Try and settle your case when you have some control over what happens outside of court. Once you go into court, no control over what a judge will do.

Not even that, if a judge thinks you’re avoiding him, he may decide to run it out of badness.
It’s not many that would associate district court judges with high faluting notions like justice delayed

Johnny Depp has a history of violence and is on trial again next month for assault. And I believe a lot of his previous assaults on Ms Heard were proved “to the civil standard” a few years back (according to an article I read in the Guardian yesterday).
I don’t know. This one doesn’t sit right with me.
a lot of the stuff that the jury in the US trial got wasnt before the UK court because the case was against a newspaper and not AH.
