Iâm sure they meant to say that the new nominee for Taoiseach will be put before the DĂĄil by June 2.

There wonât be an election till October at the least . New Taoiseach on. 2 June , vital with "new " Brit govt to have a soft break in . DĂĄil rises in mid July and back late Sept .

Theyâll have the new guy, or gal, in just in time for the summer holidays so itâs unlikely that anything will happen before the budget - unless the TDs really want to canvass in the good weather.
