I agree 100% with everything you say until the sentence ending âwater chargesâŚâ above.
I personally find Joan Burton to have acted the complete cunt particularly since she became leader of Labour and I would have no problem with her getting grief and wouldnât have expected an arrest as a result.
But donât be fooled. This isnât about socialism at all. Proper socialists would be supporting the working man with the crippling USC rather than a tiny charge that has no significance. The only reason you have the likes of Murphy leading this charge is for votes. The residents of Jobstown etc donât work but they love a good fight and this fucker is stoking it up for his own benefit so his target audience will vote him in again - the cunt.
Not everyone in jobstown doesnât work believe it or not. And those that dont are unlikely to vote.
Paul Murphy is clearly an absolute cunt who has just latched onto this as his way to notoriety. Iâve no doubt he could have easily been as vehemently anti immigration or some such if he felt that was the way the wind was blowing.
That said however the government are making an absolute hero out of him with this nonsense.
He is well articulated infairness and weâll able for a debate and you can see the working class loving the man who went to jail over the water charges.
He could be easily exposed as having absolutely no policies etc. but there isnât a person in government capable of talking without saying something absolutely retarded never mind debate.
The way they are going heâll romp home next time out and bring a few of his anti austerity buddies in with him.
Some going out of fine Gael to be leading a government with the fastest growing economy and Europe, and one of the fastest in the world, and still be massively unpopular

Yeah, itâs certainly wasnât out of any sympathy for Burton that was behind that post. It was more out of annoyance that

fixed for Julio
Paul Murphy seems like a grand chap to me. Always appeared to be an alright sort in UCD too. Those saying heâs only jumping on this bandwagon neglect the fact that he was a MEP for 3 years until summer 2014 and only won the by-election last October. Itâs not as if he doesnât have a campaigning background both at home and abroad for many years and itâs ignorance of his background to suggest this is his first foray into anti-establishment protests.
I think this has nothing to do with the gov and all to do with Gardai fed up with all the abuse theyâve been getting. Itâs oxygen for the nutters so why would the gov try and orchestrate it.
In the normal course of things id agree with you but this has done a stand up job of getting the HSBC and the sweetheart deals given to the chosen off the headlines. The payoff will be in the watered down garda reforms announced by fitzgerald later on
The gov struggle to organise the day to day stuff competently and without leaks. The notion that they successfully organise shadowy conspiracies with no leaks is a bit fanciful.
