Ireland politics (Part 1)

The bigger question is where the world bank are getting their figures from that he quoted ā€” Thereā€™s no way a couple of thousand Nigerians are sending home that kind of money.

Irish have being doing just that for centuries. Is there a poster here who didnā€™t have a family member send money home back in the day? The bigger question here the exposure of your afro-phobic meltdown

First off, I havent had any kind of melt down - iā€™ve merely asked for balance. Secondly, youā€™ve already indicated that you have no interest in a serious discussion here, so excuse me if I dont get into a too and fro. Thirdly, shur iā€™m of African descent myself you langer.

I would have thought with all the Micks winning the Nigerian lottery out of the blue, like I have done twice, the remittances would be going the other way?

Yeah - Just keep shouting racist there like a good lad.

Truth hurts innit. My point was the speed of how quickly Ireland has been exposed as having a racist underbelly, you are merely proving it
At the risk of imposing an impinion on you I suggest you read this

Landed gentry had it soft

It wasnā€™t a big thing in the Eastern half of the country

Itā€™s weird how you claim to support the Labour party yet you are an exact example of what Iā€™m talking about, nearly as bad as @farmerinthecity

And you wonder why people say the Labour party has drifted right - youā€™ve become quite the reactionary yourself, havenā€™t you

Itā€™s weird how people like you and @farmerinthecity bemoan so called call out culture, but use it themselves, and, crucially, exclusively against people you think are left wing or challenging power

Anybody with a brain can see what @farmerinthecity was at, and anybody with a brain can see what you are at

Maybe you could tell me why you think @farmerinthecity so flippantly objected to Coppingerā€™s comment

What you think his ā€œreasoningā€ was

Maybe he could tell us

Maybe you could tell us what you thought of Coppingerā€™s comment, and give us your reasoning

Maybe you could answer the question I asked of him - in your view, what is the appropriate period of time after which to call out the likes of Grealish who are trying to manufacture hatred of Nigerians in this country

Because this is apparently a thing in reactionary circles now to deflect from racism - trying to make out the person was challenged on their comments too quickly

Have a think about it, because the distinct impression I get from you lately is that you are on the side of the racists

I hear its the same in Eastern Nigeria

Iā€™m one of the most open and least racist people you are ever likely to meet -

You;re here banging on about Ireland turning super racist and right leaning - youā€™ve said this is growing at an alarming rateā€¦ If this is true, then iā€™d ask you to look beyond the surface and explain why you think this is happening? I think this is far more important ā€¦ But while racist rhetoric is far more visible these days - the other side of the coin ā€“ shouting down everything and anything deemed racist hardly helps either? - you entrench views and created a more divided society by shouting down people - even when you know the views being expressed are extreme - shur thatā€™s all they want half the time.

Iā€™d flip what you said on its head and suggest thereā€™s a lot of anger in Ireland because we are being priced out of our own country - young people cant get homes - the cost of living is crazy - and at no other time in history are people more aware of what they dont have due to social mediaā€¦ we have a political class who have very little interest in actually tackling any of the these issues - and can they anyway in a 5 year term system? ---- I agree that we have to guard against inflammatory language ā€” I think Grealish is guilty of being a stupid fucker more than anything hereā€¦

What;s the biggest expropriation of cash from Ireland over the last 10 years?? - The national debt we were saddle with by the inept political class - and itā€™s the ordinary person still feeling the pinch from thisā€¦ you want to tackle rising racism or right leaning views - then you address the issue crippling people ā€” not shout them down and back them into a corner. Thatā€™s how 2019 Ireland seems to work sadly.

I lived in London for many years and the Irish are far more racist than the English based on my experiences there.

Chris Eubank famously said he always respected the Irish as they are the only race that will call you Nger to your face.

Have you got anything to respond with other than the most cliched form of pathetic imagined victimhood and gaslighting?

They donā€™t tell us much, except that they do tell us what sort of person you are - they tell us a lot about that actually

The INTERNET is a strange place

Feelings predominate over facts

There are people who will go to such lengths to defend blatantly wrong opinions that they would rather become far right than admit they are wrong about anything

Their pride must survive intact at any cost, even at the cost of becoming far right

Accidental Nazis, or something

At least thatā€™s what @anon61878697 says

Sadly, there may well be quite a bit of truth in this

Great to see Leo put this whole thing to bed

Varadkar continues: Grealish figures are from the World Bank; they are ā€œestimates provided to the World Bank by Nigerian authorities and are not actual dataā€ - Ireland says those details ā€œare open to serious scrutiny and we would believe our statistics are the accurate onesā€.

Lads trusting The fucking Nigerians

I wouldnt call you an accidental nazi per se ā€“ but you do portray one at times.
