Ireland politics (Part 1)

I think Saoirse McHugh is terrific.

A pity she’s mainly focused on eco socialism. If she expanded to eco socialist republicanism then I’d buy her leaflets.

Not sure a FF supporter is best placed to comment on principles.

She seems to me to be a very admirable and very naive young woman .

Out of the cargo bike.

Hard to believe some fellas are still conflating electoral politics with democracy in the year 2020

Shur, Most progressive measures come from the likes of Brenda and Joanne pushing it on Facebook

Jesus Christ that is just so ignorant.

I presume she’s espousing activism - which is important as it’s usually from here a lot of issues make it to parliament.

A green cheerleading the removal of water charges fairly beats Banagher

It’s naive to believe the opposite imo. The truth is somewhere in the middle

I will reserve judgement on that score until she is elected and gets in to power

I only heard of Mchugh in the last few months, she’s a young green party member who’s failed to get elected in a few elections, clearly her constituency doesn’t rate her. What makes so special that she makes national news?

Typical leftie. It’s only democracy where it goes the way she wants it.
