Ireland politics (Part 2)

They love shouting….

Costing & actual ideas are still lacking.

FF/FG are not exactly overflowing in those departments either.

The Blueshirts came up with the excellent idea of building a National Childrens Hospital in fairness.

Lads, snipe back like the SF crew & deflect deflect….

Was that not around for a decade or so and FG were the ones that got it started. Pity they haven’t managed the costs of it.

As if anyone in Ireland ever gave a fcuk about costing until the establishment started calling sf out on it about 15 years ago.
Who costed the national Childrens hospital? If every sf sum was as wrong as claimed we still wouldn’t get close to being out over a billion on one project ffs.

I don’t vote for them because I don’t trust them. Costing me arse

Si Harris will throw up a few broken heart emojis on Tik Tok when the final cost of The National Children’s Hospital is revealed.

Actually, he has been relatively conspicuous by his absence from the airwaves recently since Matt Carthy outed him as the alleged leaker.

Deflecting is their game….

From what exactly? Their record in government down here. Grow up. Be honest about why u won’t vote for them instead of hiding behind manufacturered bullshit. No ideas was another one. Again bullscutter they have too many of them if anything

I don’t mind Rose myself, she’s on the road on behalf of her constituents a tidy while now. Our own Martin Kenny, on the odd occasion you’d see him performs well actually. His stance in supporting the Syrian refugees in Ballinamore will stand him in good stead. There’s a few of them palatable, a few now mind.

Poor Si has the VID now and is isolating. He can spend more time thinking about whether to report the SF TD who outed him as the leaker.

I think you’ve misunderstood my point, bro.

Personally I think they have some very good politicians within the party.
Some talk sense but there never seems to be anymore context to their arguments other than grabbing headline for papers or social media likes…

As regards voting for a candidate, currently in tipperary? No.
That man couldn’t retain his council seat and rode a crest of emotion in the last election.

They should win next election from here so we’ll see what’s what then.

The record up North isn’t great though

Pray for Si.

Win the next election …They may reach 40 or 40+ seats and may be the largest party but that of itself doesn’t guarantee the levers of power. If they don’t form a Government after the next election their lustre will fade as they become the permanent opposition. It’s the maths innit……

Depends on whether FF and FG join together and also how well they do. Also the optics if SF are the largest party and FF and FG come together again to deny them access to government wont be good. SF can bash them at every turn saying they are preventing other parties from government.

SF will need to have no FF or FG with them . FG will fancy a spell in opposition . FF might go with SF but maybe not .

Do you honestly think that SF wanted to be on government in 2020 ???

Were people upset and crying about conspiracies and lack of democracy when FF were ousted from government by the various rainbow coalitions despite being the largest party @anon67715551 . Before my time.

A party with the exact same profile and policies as SF and with the position they have as main opposition to FF and fg but no IRA baggage would win 90 seats.

Colm need not worry about the cost of heating oil anyway. Hes carrying enough timber to keep fires lit in multiple households
