Its a great video. The normally unflappable HR crew absolutely frothing at the mouth. Seething. It’s bizarre how poor a speaker DHR is in that clip even before big Dunc stitches him one.

Duncan fairly cleaned Danny’s clock for him there. You never, of course, envisaged DHR as any form of orator now did you. “The soup, mains with plenty mate and yes, a bowl of trifle and 3 pints” is about his limit. He has that well refined I’d say. Quick one-line ripostes aren’t his forte, MHR has that brief.

Its always gas around election time when lads try to tell you Danny Healy Rae is really shrewd and knows what he’s at. He’s a complete simpleton who gets elected because of his name and his brother

You ve missed the point completely there kid. Bacik is not remotely interested in leading labour down its traditional route. Sinn Fein have all but taken that vote. Shes more interested in populist politics which is a huge gamble for labour and a wager I suspect may well backfire
