Tom is on Late Debate now. Sounds like he had zero expectation of being elected and might not be sure what to do with himself. Seems a decent fella anyway.

Bacik was in the parliamentary party at the time. The point being that labour have been in power enacting their policies in recent memory , the others havent

The university candidates run as independents usually as far as I know. But she defied the party to run in the Seanad election last year when there was one of those government agreements in place.

I think it’s fairly inevitable she’ll leave in the near future. She’s doesn’t feel supported by the party and most of the party feels she doesn’t obey the rules. But she has allies so could be messy

Tipp is the constituency of independents. If he aligns himself with Mattie and Lowry, he’ll do ok.

Hazel appears to have that very ireland politician affliction of feeling entitled to a seat in the oireacteas.

The sophisticated electorate in Dublin Bay South are a bellwether for the national mood. The Bacik bounce will reinvigorate the party nationally.

MOE is +/- 3% so labour could just as easily be on 1%

Aontu are closing in on the Labour party. Good to see.

SF will never get into power. FFG will block them indefinitely.

in 20 years time FFGLAB will be lucky to have 30% of seats between them
