The university candidates run as independents usually as far as I know. But she defied the party to run in the Seanad election last year when there was one of those government agreements in place.
I think itâs fairly inevitable sheâll leave in the near future. Sheâs doesnât feel supported by the party and most of the party feels she doesnât obey the rules. But she has allies so could be messy

Tipp is the constituency of independents. If he aligns himself with Mattie and Lowry, heâll do ok.

The sophisticated electorate in Dublin Bay South are a bellwether for the national mood. The Bacik bounce will reinvigorate the party nationally.
