Ireland politics (Part 2)

SF will get pilloried for making a hash of a load of things, which no doubt they will. But whatever they do it won’t be as bad as FGs creation of the housing crisis and should be seen in that context.

Great to see demanding targets being set.

Ireland was in a significantly worse place in the 1950s, 1980s and late 2000s and it is very possible we could go there again.

Ignorance is bliss amongst the modern day Paddy.

So that’s alright then is it

That’s that settled now. Move along folks, it was tougher in the 50s

That seems irrelevant.

It’s only since Brexit that Sinn Fein IRA have softened their anti-EU stance. They have a lot in common with their Tory paymasters.

It’s very relevant to what you said. Your statement said there is nothing worse than what is there now. Things can very much be worse and has been under FG/FF governments.

Unlike you official lackeys, we’re talking about the present and future… You lot seemed to be obsessed with the past.

But things absolutely can get worse, the statement implies that things things really can’t.

Have a look around the world and see how much worse they could get.

This isn’t anything to do with SF, just the general hyperbole around housing here.

I think youre being a bit too literal with Glas’ statement… Yes, a nuclear war could break out and wipe out half the planet… But I’m not sure we make political decisions around these kind of dooms day possibilities. What’s happening in India or Denmark is of no concern of ours. We have our own government and tax system to address our problems. You lads were celebrating super tax revenues recently… Go spend it on housing… After all, isn’t that what we did historically? Before 'the market ’ ruled politics.

Kwashi O’Doherty has taken some slap downs recently. He must be absolutely seething.

That’s so dumb. You deserve a dumb rating. Have a read on how the purse strings and politics in the north work.

He hasn’t been the same since some no mark bogger from Westmeath destroyed him on Matt Cooper.

Not really. Policy matters.

SF recently supported Greek policy with regards to Europe. That led to Europe being the sick man of Europe for 10 years.

Again I find it laughable that the fella lamenting Ireland and wanting to move abroad would now say what happens elsewhere is irrelevant. Really playing up to a gormless simpleton role.

I’m well aware SF IRA administer British rule in Northern Ireland.

They’ve failed in housing.

What will they do better in the Republic of Ireland. Where will they find the Labour to build 80,000 homes a year - actually they may find it when they drive all the MNCs out but then there’ll be no money to build the houses

Similar to how the purse strings worked here for years under the IMF-EU.

Joan Burton and the Labour Party got no such leeway that SF constantly demand.

By god… If you can’t see the difference here youre a complete nut.

Sweet reply.

Your stupidity didn’t even deserve a reply.
