Iā€™ll take redundancy, buy a horsebox, and sell 4 euro coffees out of it.

The AI stuff is crazy though. In five years those algorithims will be smarter than humans arguably. Will be nothing they wonā€™t be able to do.

Could always plug the cunting things out of the wall I suppose though.

People are earning less in real terms. Thats the killer. Wages havent tracked the rate of inflation at all. All the quantitive easing since 2008 and particularly over the free money tree Covid period has come back to bite big time.

Gouging is going on too of course which hasnt helped. Hotels, restaurants etc are guilty of that. Maybe they have to, to be fair. Its a bad cycle to get into though.

All the Covid wierdoā€™s told us that wouldnā€™t be a problem, we could borrow money at low interest rates for ever

We need a savage recession to ground us

Those lads were typically Marxists paid by the State looking to use Covid as a vehicle to smash the system.

A lot of them are ā€œWFHā€ wasters who couldnā€™t believe their luck

ā€˜An oul cod of a coldā€™ is the reason for inflation now.

Sinn Fein seem to be hemorrhaging support according to Red C Polls. Down -9% in 6 months. 4% latest.

The FFG tactic of making a bollox of the immigration issue to have working class people at each others throats and splitting the SF vote is working a treat

Mary Lou is a sham.

Thatā€™s certainly an element

Sinn FĆ©in are doing that all by themselves tbh. They need no help in that regard.

I called this out 5 years agoā€¦ Too much flip flopping on issues trying to go the populist route. Yes, they are an opposition party but itā€™s hard to know what they actually stand for now other than populism.
I still think they have by far the best activists on the ground and do great local community work but senior figures are out at sea.

That & SF talking out of both sides of their mouths on other issues. But itā€™s probably the immigration issue mainly alright - if Iā€™m not mistaken their 4% fall has been picked up by independents +2%, Aontu and FF +1%. So probably losing out to gombeens on that issue. Pity itā€™s not the progressive parties benefitting.
