Ireland v Bulgaria - Both sides are riddled and Useless

more than likely and you don’t get a handy 6th pot match up

Are Denmark a top seed? We need to get them again lads

yeah, they are by far the handiest pot 1 draw

When will fixtures commence for the WC?

Wilder at Sheffield Utd hasn’t won a game yet this season - losing 7 and drawing one with a goal record of 4 F and 14 A

And he is very well regarded

the 21st of November 2022 and you can’t even blame covid for that. they couldn’t hold it in the summer because European lads would melt

What the absolute fucking fuck? Two years away? … Wait what year is it now and what big tournament is up next?

calm the fuck down - what have you your knickers in a twist for ?

He has credit from last year.

I do think Kenny is getting a pass that MON or MCC wouldn’t get. I understand why and that it’s a long term goal but he could really use a win and soon

When do Republic of Ireland play next ???

we have no fixed game

Could it be a case of straight to qualifiers with even a friendly ??

march 27th is the next scheduled international break I don’t know if that gives time for a friendly before the qualifiers or if the FAI can schedule one outside the break. I’d imagine not.

Not ideal.

Mr. Kenny hasn’t had an optimal start to his reign, through circumstance and results have reflected that unfortunately

I’m willing to give Kenny a fair chance at the World Cup qualifying and if there is decent progress there (even beating the 4th and 5th seed teams easily) then I’d be happy for him to get the Euro qualifying as well but the total lack of any criticism from the same lads who criticised McCarthy and O’Neill so heavily is ridiculous

who are you referring to here? which journalists?

Most managers get a grace period when they start here. Then they get turned on.

Except Brian Kerr who got turned on fair quick despite being statistically Irelands best manager. I actually thought Kenny would get the same as he is LOI background and not media savvy (his interview last night was scandalous)

Sadlier, Cowzer, Emmet Malone, Dion Fanning

I’m not saying go after Kenny or anything but there’s been a few decisions which deserve criticism and other managers would have got slaughtered for

Kerr wasn’t turned on quickly, there was a lot of optimum and goodwill towards him in his first 18 months in the job. It turned once he bottled in the second half of the the WC 2006 qualifying throwing away leads against Isreal twice and two fairly gutless displays against France and Switzerland which meant we finished four in a group we had control of at the half way point

Dion Fanning had an article about fatalism and Irish football there around the Slovakia game

It’s hard to tell if he was criticizing him or not - he seemed to say we’re shit, but we might as well look good being shit

We need the singing section back ASAP

The job was too big for Kerr and it’s looking that way for Kenny.

Big Sam was and still is the man for the Irish job
