Mentioned plenty but Glenn Whelan showed he can actually play football tonight. I’ve seen him play decent football for Stoke down the years (relatively speaking given Tony Pulis’ methods), way better than Trap or O’Neill ever got out of him. A pity he is now the age he is with the manager we now have.
