I really donāt know what lads see in McClean. Runs around and throws himself into tackles but very little quality

Fair result, only ourselves to blame. Stopped playing for 25 minutes after we scored. Brady, Hendrick and Wes second half were all excellent. Hendrick tired but still kept working hard. Walters, Long and McCarthy all grafted but had little impact. Whelan was his normal self, did a good job screening the back four but passive on the ball after a promising start.
Coleman sent in a couple of decent crosses but was up and down. Our centre halves did as well as could be expected given their ability.
We needed to take our 1st half chances, needed to stick two, we were always going to tire, but tired earlier than i thought we would which is a worry. Few lads there arent fully fit. Walters, coleman. Dissapointed with long, he should have anticapated a possible fresh air from ohea. I thought this was the game we could have getting 3 pnts from but ill take the 1.
Iām going back to bed now as Iām not sure how much post match analysis I can take on Bein Sports from a panel of Richard Keys, Andy Gray, Kevin Keegan and Jason McAteer. Iām not making this up.

A big issue for Eire now is whether wins get recorded in match upās like Russia v Slovakia, Iceland v Hungary, Ukraine v Northern Ireland, Czech Republic v Turkey and Romania v Albania.

Disappointing, but it could have been worse. We were very lucky not to concede a few after our goal, Sweden were panicky and wasteful in front of goal. We will give Belgium and Italy plenty to worry about, Belgium are overrated and its probably the worst Italian squad in history.

We need the Dagos to beat the Chocolate eaters and the Suedes. Then we eek out a draw against the Belgies, then go into last match with Eye-ties already qualified and the other two having to hammer the holes off of each other. Hon the Italians.
Zlatan stepped up when his country need him. The Irish were the better team though.
Looking forward to watching our boys now.
