Not a pleasurable viewing experience.
Two early goals there but never pushed on. A 6-0 win would have meant a win in Cardiff and a draw between Serbia and Georgia would have won us the group. Missed opportunity.
Georgia could conceivably draw in Belgrade but it’s very hard to see them win.
There are some hipster soccer fellas in ireland that need a bang on the head.
Nice job by RTE to play out with Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”, echoing the spirit of Giants Stadium 1994.
