I couldn’t give a fuck who he’s playing for once he continues to play like that for Ireland

The seethe is wonderful.

Seethe :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Just some lads need a bottle of reality

SRFC’s Fallon says there’s something cooking.

A new identity, she says.

Didi says if we play this way we can beat Portugal

Give the fucking nod @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy

Time for Ireland to permanently return to our traditional colour of blue and ditch that horrible green.

We looked much more intimidating in it tonight.

I always was sceptical if SK is the right man for the job . That said I was always of the view that he deserves a full WC & full Euro Campaign

WCs are going to be very very difficult to reach going forward . Failure to reach the Euros should be a sackable offence .

The Off the Ball lads will be unbearable now tomorrow but a small price to pay

Don’t listen to them

Qualifiers for euro’s in 18 months. Hopefully we find some good attacking players as i don’t think we have the quality at the moment.

Stephen Kenny won’t ever stand on a stage near Paul McGinley or Nigel Owens or Jim Gavin.

When is draw for the next Euros?

Two good results now back to back, signs of life, fellas would want to relax though :grinning:

I hope we get Portugal again. We’ll batter the cunts.

The bad luck is gone we have turned a corner the last few games, the players are enjoying themselves and are 100% playing for their manager, an Irish side with their spirits high will always have a chance regardless of the opposition. We will give the Portuguese a monumental battle again next month, they will earn their place for top spot.

Hendrick was a real positive there. Think we could really do with him sustaining this level of display, as we’re quite light in midfield quality/options compared to other positions. Great to see Duffy’s return to form - he must be one of the most likeable fellas to play for us. If Robinson can become a regular goalscorer now then we’ll be in decent shape given the solid base the keeper and defence should provide. McGrath has also done really well. I like his intelligence; he takes up clever positions and picks out passes. It’s surely been a tough year and a bit for Kenny so nice to see the improvements lately and now the results starting to come.

An upper tier championship club or a move to the continent would be ideal for Hendrick and more importantly the national side at this stage of his career. Some of our better players in recent years were into their 30s before giving their best efforts in an Irish shirt.

the feel good factor is back
I’m absolutely delighted for Spock and the lads who seem a really united bunch out there now- Its great to see the comraderie with Egan and Duffy at the back, they are two great warriors and seem to be really sound likable fellas as well…Doherty, Hendrix all firing as well - they’re like new men out there.
It reminds me a lot like Wales and their redemption from 2014 onwards where Coleman got these boys together after get tonked 6-1 by the likes of Serbia togther and the red shirt would lift them , they had a great system, played for the boss and were a united bunch.
Im absolutely delighted with this - look its a reasonable step in the right direction albeit against mediocre to abject opposition but there were some very dark days there in november last year and march this year so we’ll take it.
The public are right behind the side as well, how couldnt you be? - Ogbene could be a very positive symbol of this thing going forward also- i hope to god he can play at this “level” because he brings some many positive qualities from his cameos in the media and on TV that ive seen…

gotta love spock also- the interviews are box office

lads on a serious note tho
our midfeld will get completly run over against strong opposition in its current form
i was trying to figure out what combo of hendrix/hourihane or mcgrath was in there at phases earlier and jesus the space they give to the opposition is punishable- so when opposition are coming out from their box to look for a pass in the middle there is so much on
we dont have any defensive type of midfielder at all… running at us well - the lads are retreating but you can easily play the ball around
Duffy , Egan and Omo are fucking vital TBH as there is no cover at all at all in front of them

jamie mcgrath is a gorgeous footballer, my son plays like him, beautiful technique , poise and balance, but is very flaky, a cork hurler of an international footballer - id worry he’s a luxury player tho ( and im sad to say that)

Jeff is at the greatest project in world football
