With Robinson and Connolly you have decent pace. Develop a couple of hard runners to support them. But our strength has always been hard pressing and fighting for each other. All the chatter about good football… All we needed to do was tweak how we were going about our business for the last number of years so that there was design and composure… We simply will never have the players to play the game Kenny wants.

Was sick for Long that he never stuck that intercept tonight. He could never hold up the ball well and link but it’s those misses that have blighted his whole career really. He is our best option at no.9 at the minute but he looks like an amateur player when through on goal. He was nearly afraid to take another touch to steady up, in case it ran away from him.
