Irish Dragons' Den

DJs bird was the only one of them to feature in a top 100 wealthiest Irish people list that I saw a few ago.

They’re surely being thrown a few bob by someone else for investing? How much of our tv licence fee* is going into it?

*I never pay this.
These Dragons are utter morons, farmers will not go for this shite, in any case the costs don’t stack up. Their revenue comes from spending the day photographing cattle for which they get only a ‘trummer’. That’s visiting 333 farms a year to get revenues of 100k. Two lads on the road on 50k a year, there’s your 100k… FFS this thing will totally bomb.

How many pedigree farms are there out there? A few hundred tops. If they get 100% penetration and every farm signs up they still won’t have enough to generate enough revenue to pay the two buckos. Laughably ridiculous.
As predicted four years ago. www.pedigreecattle.ie is no more. We could have saved those dragons alot of trouble if they’d only listened to us.

A period pack being touted now. For young girls. FFS.

Coloured wellies? Good grief.

Had anyone remarked yet that they would ride this Ramona chick?

Cos I would.

She is tasty enough alright.

This bookmakers idea is stupid. I can think a few problems with it off the top of my head. the algorithm would be easy write if you were into that sort of thing.

I just got the end of it. What was the idea?

The odds would adjust everytime someone bet on it. His analogy was a coin toss, priced @ 1.90 on both sides. Someone takes heads and heads goes to 1.89 vs tails @ 1.91.

It’s a fucking stupid idea. He felt it limited their risk, but I’d imagine by allowing your price to be manipulated like that would make it extremely risky

That’s a glorified tote system then isn’t it?

Ya except they’ve taken fixed odds so you are wide open

I would too. But she’s a woeful fucking cabbage altogether

A blabbering nut lad on now. I like nuts.

Gavin is after getting fat.

5m profit in 5 years time ffs.

If his family own a decent business surely he could raise 45k without giving away 35% of the business

He hadn’t me convinced.

Wynnes no less.

Publicity I suppose I don’t know.

Watched a bit of this earlier. It all seemed fairly amateur, scripted and boring.

A lad on here claiming that he has sausages that a 300g pack could retail at as high as 16 euro :open_mouth:

This lad - the pic is one for the roaster thread

€16 a Kilo

Can’t watch this since the only real dragon DJ Carey’s ex isn’t on the panel anymore.
