Pop is the new cool bud, get with it
The 2nd song is a belter
The good news is if Farmer doesn’t like it your probably onto a strong commercial hit. On tour with the script next year
As is the third.
@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy, @backinatracksuit, @Steven_Naimsith and @Bandage are the only fucks who know their onions when it comes to serious music round here nowadays. Cheers lads:pint:
Laz, I hope you didn’t take my constructive criticism the wrong way? It was mostly praise.
And if you’re in Dublin and need a backing band, we’d love to play those tunes.
Not al all buddy, if it wasn’t for you I probably wouldn’t have the balls to put them up here in the first place. All considered criticism is always welcome. Relocating to Dublin? Hmmm…nah!
Fair nuff.
For my own amusement is there any chance of getting the vocal and drum tracks for…say, Ellie off you to remix, as such? I’m going mad with nothing to take amphetamines and work all night on.
No bother but can’t until Tuesday or Wednesday. If you’re still bored then that is
I’ll be on to you then. Nice one!
@Lazarus
Where are my fucking tracks. Did I not announce my resurrection elsewhere?
I started remixing some of the old band’s tunes to make them sound more like how I would enjoy them:
druggy, shoegaze-y, but with a driving M83 style beat.
I actually liike this: http://picosong.com/azka/
I’m not of sound mind though
Tue evening buddy. Promise

Remember seeing Mick outside Pairc Ui Chaoimh wolfing cans a few years back, just before Bruce Springsteen. Phenomenal song, this one.
A belated plug for Black Bank Folk fronted by 51 bar man and all round lovely chap Jimmy Sheeran and his pal John Colbert. The musicians on their debut album, The Rising (a 1916 concept album) include members of Damien Dempsey’s band and the album features a song by Damien himself and other guest appearances. The chaps are playing in Howth on Saturday night.
The lads are supporting Damo Dempsey in Vicar Street on Thursday and Friday.
Any gigs in Galway forthcoming?
