Donnelly was a legend at that stage holding the government to account. MM was brilliant at holding a dead party together and bringing them back from the brink and eventually into government. Mary Lou has brought SF into the mainstream and to their highest every ratings. Joe Higgins was, is and always will be a socialist legend and was one of the first to see through claire Daly. I’m presuming enda Kenny was a joke…

The likes of Bacik and Power in particular want to be front and centre of politics. It’s ego as much as anything and they have been political failures, consistently rejected by the electorate.
