Youngest player since Federico Macheda to score in 2 consecutive PL games. Lets hope he turns out a bit better than he did. Good to have an Irish striker scoring goals in Premier league. This lad has a lot of potential.

Few green shoots. Ferguson, Hodge at Wolves, OāShea and Molumby flying at West Brom. Hopefully Obafemi gets fit or gets a move.
Does anyone know if Patrick Roberts is Irish-eligible? Heās in fine form for Sunderland at the moment.
Good that Ferguson is coming through, but we are desperate for a creative midfielder for when we play the weaker nations.

He was excellent for Celtic for a few years, think Rogers brought him to Leicester for a while but he probably lacks that real physicality and pace.
Sunderland must play lovely stuff with him and Diallo from Man United.

Celtic never signed him on a permanent. Always struck me as one of these lads with a great future behind him
Roberts would be a different level altogether to someone like OāDowda.
They have some lovely attacking players at the moment, play very nice football, although perhaps a little light, can be bullied by the more physical teams in the division.
Stewart is as good a striker as is in the division and then you have Diallo, Roberts, Clarke, Pritchard, Neil, Ba; loads of creative players. Serious competition for places, Mowbray was calling Roberts the most talented player in the division but only springing him from the bench for 25 minutes because Diallo was playing so well.

finally seems to be living up to his potential
he is eligible for Ireland
Think it was because City spent 15 or 20 mill on him from Fulham and wanted to recoup that iirc
Id be very excited about him still if he is.

Tbf, he did pretty much fuck all after returning from Celtic.
He did have injuries but was struggling for form. Had to drop to League One to get gametime but seems to have worked out.
If he actually is eligible, he would be our most creative player instantly. Heād be frustrating for sure, heās very left-footed, sometimes his work rate isnāt the best but he is a brilliant dribbler, has pace, can beat a man, can score & create.
