Ruh oh.

Whatā€™s the story with Evan Ferguson? Seems to have fallen off the face of the earth in 2024

Seems to have a long term injury, just on the way back, not as highly rated as when he first came on the scene, you had journalists from newstalk etc. comparing him to Kane!

What was Harry Kane doing when he was 18/19?

Fuck all.

Think everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax with Ferguson tbh. The injuries are a concern for sure but he doesnā€™t need to be starting every single game as a teenager. Anyone saying that this is a make-or-break season for him is spouting nonsense. He has loads of time; avoiding injuries as a young player is probably the most important thing.

Bazunus injury sounds very bad will be out for the majority of the season.

Southampton signing ramsdale too.

Festy has signed for Watford

Had high hopes for Festy but looked terrible last time i saw him play for Ireland.

Coleman, Collins, Smallbone, Ogbene and Szmodics all starting in the prem today. Parrott played 80 odd mins for Alkmar last night and presume Idah will get at least half an hour in the old firm tomorrow if not a start. Hopefully no injuries now.

Molumby scores for West Brom

I presume Liam Delap could still declare for Ireland at senior level despite playing underage for England?

I donā€™t think Smallbone is going to last much longer with the new players Southampton signed and how much heā€™s struggling. He really lacks any athleticism.

Luton spent over Ā£10m on Mark McGuinness, caught badly for a goal against QPR on Friday but heā€™s still young.

And youā€™d imagine Jake Oā€™Brien will begin to start shortly. Would be nice to Omabamidele break into the team.

If he is capped for England 21s I think he canā€™t switch for 3 years after if he even wanted to which I doubt he does. Forget about him id say.

Whoā€™s this left back starting for Sunderland born in Dublin not playing for us?

Dennis Cirkin is his name.

Heā€™s excellent, reads the game really well, pace & power and a good aerial threat on set-pieces. Very injury-prone though. And extremely left-footed, it does limit his game.

He has no real Irish links though. He was born in Ireland but his parents are Latvian and he grew up in England. Still, probably not good enough for England (although only 21), I reckon heā€™d be our best left-back if he did fancy it.

Tallest dwarf in the village analogy

Is Cirkin refusing a call up or what? Szmodics seems the only lad over the last 6-7yrs with ability that was non Irish born and declared for us. That was our bread and butter one time.

Not aware that heā€™s been asked yet.
