Man united were always the team of the Catholics in the north west of England. It was a big tradition to get brought to a match in old Trafford on the day of your confirmation.

A night time kick-off presumably to accommodate the confirmation party, trip to the airport and subsequent flight?:joy:

Ya I read about that before

Those days are gone. Itā€™s an international brand aimed at teenagers.

As long as the teenagers have received the sacrament of confirmation

Festy just gone off after a second bout of cramp on 70 mins vs Leeds. Not exactly encouraging from a fitness point of view

When did Tom Cannon go to Stoke? After scoring an equalizer against Southampton in the EFL Cup

Dennis Cirkin has just scored an absolute thunderbolt.

Heā€™s a serious defensive left-back and seems to be getting better & better from an attacking pov. Surely we have to at least see about capping him?

He was Sunderlandā€™s best player today. Gave them serious impetus from LB. Himself and Manning should be pushing Brady for a spot.

Finn Azaz sent the hatters home with their tae in a mug today

FotMob has him as English. Has he declared for Ireland?

Ireland-eligible. Capped most of the way up underage for England

He hasnā€™t but he was born in Dublin and, while he has ability, heā€™s a Championship left-back at the moment and unlikely to be considered for England until heā€™s in the Premier League.

He hasnā€™t a hope of getting capped with England

Most likely yes but thereā€™s a fair shortage of left backs in England too. Trippier was there during the euros.

Youā€™ve lads like Chilwell who will probably never play for England again

Farrugia is better than cirkin
