Man united were always the team of the Catholics in the north west of England. It was a big tradition to get brought to a match in old Trafford on the day of your confirmation.

A night time kick-off presumably to accommodate the confirmation party, trip to the airport and subsequent flight?:joy:

Ya I read about that before

Those days are gone. It’s an international brand aimed at teenagers.

As long as the teenagers have received the sacrament of confirmation

Festy just gone off after a second bout of cramp on 70 mins vs Leeds. Not exactly encouraging from a fitness point of view

When did Tom Cannon go to Stoke? After scoring an equalizer against Southampton in the EFL Cup

Dennis Cirkin has just scored an absolute thunderbolt.

He’s a serious defensive left-back and seems to be getting better & better from an attacking pov. Surely we have to at least see about capping him?

He was Sunderland’s best player today. Gave them serious impetus from LB. Himself and Manning should be pushing Brady for a spot.

Finn Azaz sent the hatters home with their tae in a mug today

FotMob has him as English. Has he declared for Ireland?

Ireland-eligible. Capped most of the way up underage for England

He hasn’t but he was born in Dublin and, while he has ability, he’s a Championship left-back at the moment and unlikely to be considered for England until he’s in the Premier League.

He hasn’t a hope of getting capped with England

Most likely yes but there’s a fair shortage of left backs in England too. Trippier was there during the euros.

You’ve lads like Chilwell who will probably never play for England again
