Irish soccerball nil - That boy Bazunu will save us (Part 1) 🐐

The other thing you’d notice when wiki-ing this is the amount of squads that have just one player from a domestic league, very often a third choice keeper with no chance of playing. You’d have to say hats off the the FAI for not tolerating this kind of demeaning tokenism.

Wikipediaing tne fuck out of their phones trying to disprove a point he never made
As far as I see the point stands, Ireland are the only team to have competed in the World Cup without once ever having a player from the domestic league in any squad
Fascinating to watch

Taxi for @GeoffreyBoycott

I haven’t a clue, you’ve spent a while trying to disprove it but you’ve always had a year attached

Yes. Unlike Eire, when Billy Bingham’s Ireland were competing at the World Cup in the 1980’s, they had squad representation from their domestic league.

No there are countries (plural) other than the Republic of Ireland who participated in a World Cup finals who didn’t have a representative from their domestic league in any squad that participated in a World Cup finals.

Well if you didn’t have a clue why did you assert that “as far as I can see the point stands”. It makes you look very foolish now.

Why did you mention 6 countries that don’t so?

To draw the odd clown like yourself out. :grinning::+1:

More lies from Boycott.

Never mentioned he was a Spurs fan up to recently - in fact he previously said on here he was a Preston fan. When he was found out he came up with some pitiful story about being brought up there.

A spoofer.

Who do you support havent seen you mentioning soccer in a long while now

@dodgy_keeper is apparently a Man U fan. He’s been hiding on the Man U thread for most of the last near six years though since Sir Alex departed and they stopped winning trophies on an annual basis. When @artfoley highlighted his absence again there recently, he had to call on some of his fellow Man U fans to bail him out. First there was chat about only posting on a private Man U supporters thread and then some cock and bull story about a new job and too busy in work to post. At the very same time, he was posting non-stop for days on the Munster rugby and other rugby related threads. Maybe his new job is with the Munster branch of the IRFU.

United won the league in 2013 you clown

Ireland didn’t have a professional domestic league during any of the world cups they qualified for.
