Irish soccerball nil - That boy Bazunu will save us (Part 1) šŸ

Goalkeepers: Caoimhin Kelleher (Liverpool), Gavin Bazunu (Portsmouth, on loan from Manchester City), Mark Travers (AFC Bournemouth)

Defenders: Seamus Coleman (Everton), Matt Doherty (Tottenham Hotspur), Shane Duffy (Brighton and Hove Albion), John Egan (Sheffield United), Dara Oā€™Shea (West Bromwich Albion), Ryan Manning (Swansea City), James McClean (Wigan Athletic), Andrew Omobamidele (Norwich City), Nathan Collins (Burnley).

Midfielders: Josh Cullen (Anderlecht), Jeff Hendrick (Newcastle United), Conor Hourihane (Aston Villa), Harry Arter (Nottingham Forest), Jamie McGrath (St. Mirren), Jayson Molumby (Brighton and Hove Albion)

Attackers: Aaron Connolly (Brighton and Hove Albion), James Collins (Cardiff City), Daryl Horgan (Wycombe Wanderers), Adam Idah (Norwich City), Troy Parrott (MK Dons, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Shane Long (Southampton), Ronan Curtis (Portsmouth).

Randolph would be the one fella Iā€™d hold despite not getting gametime, even if Bazunu looks the real deal.

Collins gets a big money move, doesnā€™t play any games for his new team, and gets in. Iā€™m not saying heā€™s not good enough but just wondering why he wasnā€™t in previously.

Look, weā€™re really short on options no matter which way you look at it. And Knight is a big loss, heā€™s our best midfielder. But whatā€™s the story with Alan Browne, why isnā€™t he in the squad? Played Prestonā€™s first three matches, is he injured?

Think Browne and Robinson have Covid which is a disaster. Randolph canā€™t even get on the West Ham bench now, he made a financially motivated return there and if he is happy with that fair enough.

Kenny said heā€™s hopeful that Browne and Robinson could be available for the two home games in the triple header. Itā€™s Portugal (a) followed by Azerbaijan and Serbia (h). No offence to the 6 or 7 midfield players listed, but it looks like such a weak unit.

Those midfield options are very poor

Is Jamie McGrath not a striker?

I can barely remember what team we picked last time.

Would they go for something like:

Bazunu
Coleman Duffy Egan
Doherty Cullen Molumby McClean
Horgan Parrott Connolly

7 points coming in here lads I can feel it.

Think the front 3 might be Parrott, Idah, Connolly and Kelleher in goal.

Dockery should be nowhere near that squad.

Scales should be in

This is embarrassing, but I canā€™t remember much either. I know we lost to Serbia away and Luxembourg at home but did we finally win a game then? Was it a friendly? We drew with Qatar at some stage. Ah yes, we beat Andorra or someone on the end of season trip when Parrott scored twice. I think Bazunu has cemented his place in goal @Biff_Egan.

We beat Andorra but that was a friendly. I think we looked alright but only had half a team out really.

That Devoy lad who plays midfield for Bohs is supposed to be a great talent too. Bit of hype about Tierney also.

Yeah Both seem highly regarded
Younger players getting more of a look in if late in LOI and potentially get a chance to play in Europe as well
Suppose benefits clubs as bigger chance of making a few quid selling players on as well

We best those Andorran cunts round the place, they can fuck off back to skiing.

how is maclean in the squad and mick duffy is not - mother of sweet devine jesus

did anyone see Duffy vs Vitesse both leg?
ive never seen an LOI player play like that in Europeā€¦ever

Nope

Thatā€™s Callum Robinsonā€™s second time testing positive for Covid, right?

Premier league clubs refusing to release players for internationals in covid redblist countries - will this effect Ireland?

60 quid for a ticket for Saturday night.

What an absolute joke - Delaney used always look out for the common man back in the good old days.

When you say common man, I trust you mean him?
