Problem in the first half for me was that we didn’t keep the ball. We lashed it forward every opportunity and couldn’t string 2 passes together. As a result we were constantly under pressure

That’s it for Irish sport for another two years at least … Wes and Mcgeady will probably call it a day … Walters not far from the end also. Hopefully Coleman comes back as good and lads like O’Dowda push on. But goals, as ever, a big worry going forward.
Manager has signed a new deal but loads of questions about how he prepares his team and tactics … There’s an element of us just having to accept our position in world football also… The huff and puff days have long passed and you have to be far more composed and technical these days along with physicality.
