Only played one game for them so far as far as I know. He can only improve them given their position in league one. It’s a one month loan spell.
Edit - I see his loan was reported on 4th November on BBC.

The Republic of Ireland Under-17 and Under-19 international teams learned their UEFA elite qualifying fate at a draw at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland on Tuesday.
Paul Doolin’s Under-19 squad will travel to Portugal for the elite qualifying phase where they will face Israel, hosts Portugal and Ukraine from 23-28 May.
Doolin’s side have it all to do as only the top team will progress to the finals which take place in Estonia in July.
The eight team finals will also act as a qualifier for the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Meanwhile, John Morling’s Under-17 squad face a similarly tough task in their bid to qualify for the eight team finals in Slovenia in May 2012. They were drawn against current European Champions, Netherlands alongside Serbia and Albania.
The elite qualifying phase will take place in the Netherlands from 22-27 March and will also only see one team progressing to the finals.
The draw for the 2012/13 first qualifying phase for the Under-17 and Under-19 UEFA Championships were also made in UEFA headquarters. The Irish Under-17s will begin their campaign in October 2012 and will travel to Macedonia where they will face Romania, Sweden and hosts Macedonia.
The Under-19s team will travel to Luxembourg where they will meet Germany Macedonia and Luxembourg which will also take place on October 2012.
The top two teams in east first qualifying group will advance to the elite qualifying phase.
James McClean scored 2 and set up 2 for Sunderland today - not sure if it was reserves or a friendly game.
Conor Clifford has scored for Yeovil tonight.
I see on another forum that John Egan joined Cystal Palace last week on a month loan from Sunderland and played 90 minutes against Derby in the FA cup, he captained the under 19’s last summer. Good to see that some of the names above have made decent progress over the last 6 months like Hendrick, Forde, Doherty and Egan.
As well as Robbie Brady who wasn’t selected
Is Conor Henderson due to return soon after his cruciate injury? I have high hopes for this youngster.
Matt Doherty playing right full for Wolves tonight and has looked quite good getting forward down the right
Our U-16s beat Portugal away today or yesterday. We’ll win the World Cup in a few years, mark my words.
No place for Matt Doherty
Republic of Ireland Under-21 manager Noel King has announced his squad for the forthcoming internationals against Denmark and Italy.
The U-21s play Denmark at Tallaght Stadium in a friendly Monday 28 May before meeting Italy in a UEFA U21 Championships qualifying match at the Showgrounds, Sligo, on Monday 4 June.
Captain Rob Kiernan has not been included as he is undergoing treatment on an injury but may join up with the group later. King also has the opportunity to add one or two more players if needed.
Republic of Ireland squad for forthcoming fixtures against Denmark and Italy:
Ian McLoughlin, Aaron McCarey, Mark Connolly, Shane Duffy, Greg Cunningham, Niall Canavan, Lanre Oyebanjo, John Egan, Jeff Hendrick, Eunan O’Kane, Richie Towell, Aidan White, Conor Clifford, Samir Carruthers, Conor Hourihane, Sean Murray, James Collins, Rhys Murphy, Aaron Doran, Robbie Brady.
U-19 international squad members Samir Carruthers and Sean Murray will join up with the squad after their UEFA Championships qualifying tournament duties with Paul Doolin’s squad have been completed. Eunan O’Kane and John Egan are the two other U-21 uncapped players in the squad.
King said: “We’ve assembled a good squad that we will be looking to build on our previous performances. At this stage of the season some players have not played for a couple of weeks so the Denmark game will be extremely important.
“Italy are a very well-prepared side that recently beat Scotland 4-1 in a warm-up game so everything is geared towards being prepared for that fixture.”
Best of luck to the Italian u-21s today as they take on Ireland u-21s.
Is this game being televised?
A 3pm kick-off at The Showgrounds, Sligo.
We’re 1-0 up, a Shane Duffy O.G.

Roma-owned Alessandro Cresenzi has been very impressive at left back for us.
I cant remember the last Italian shirt that didnt make its wearer look like a complete bender.
A lovely piece of skill from Roma-owned Alessandro Florenzi.
Just seen the goal, wtf was Duffy at :o
Roma’s Federico Viviani being interviewed now.
Would you mind translating some of it for us mate? Just a general gist will suffice.
He said Ireland is a great nation, he really likes the Irish people. Italy are playing well, he’s glad to be involved in the u-21 setup, he is looking forward to working under Zdenek Zeman and hopeful he make a bigger impact in the first team next season. He said Verratti and Insigne are great players and would love to play with them at Roma.
