Im not on about the poor women in dubai. A fucked up place for women and what happened was horrible. Same with the woman in limerick. Joke of a sentence.

A partner of a KK player was locked up for three days out there on a team holiday around 2008/09. They’d awful trouble trying to get her out. Can’t remember the reason but it was something fairly spurious like wearing a sleeveless top out on the street.

Ok for flight connections but that’s about it. There are two or three flights a day from Dubai into Krakow now. They come here for mountains and shopping.
I’ve been through it a few times going to India stayed over the once it’s the fakest place I’ve ever experienced.

Tis a grand place to go to stay in a lovely luxurious hotel and be served by a load of underpaid Asians who are treated like dirt. It’s a horrible place really. Nothing genuine about it.

Doha is much nicer and nicer to transfer in. I use it whenever possible.

If you’re judging a city based on the ability to walk from 1 plane to another then you might be a tad short sighted

I had to. I was about to ask when was evidence ever required on TFK, but you ruined it with auto correct.
I fuckin hate the place. Mrs Mac has a niece living there now ‘living the dream’ doing some job where she pretends to be loving life but is genuinely miserable. Tis some charade. But it appears we’ve some obligation to go visit her for some reason as Mrs Mac likes Dubai. I’ve been coming up with excuses for 18 months so far as to why we can’t go but I know I’ll eventually lose the battle.

A nice post whipped away from right under your nose 
Dubai is quite visually impressive. The architecture there is something else. And it’s close to the desert for dune bashing and camel riding.
It’s not a place I’d be in a hurry back too but lads here are acting like it’s Kabul
